Type I: Round "O" and perfectly formed vertical "S".
Type II: Round "O" and perfectly formed slanted "S".
Type III: Oval "O" with deformed and slanted "S".


"N.S.W." in three concentric ovals.
Type II Overprint

In 1885, 1000 sets of 47 different "OS" adhesives and postal stationery 
were prepared of which 900 sets was supposed to be sold to the public.
The sale was discontinued after 158 sets were sold.


"G.P.O." in three concentric ovals.
Type II Overprint

100 Sets prepared for distribution gratis. 
Only 50 were distributed; the remaining 50 overprinted "Specimen" as above.


Type I: Mint, prepared for the Department of Lands.
Reported to have been issued on January 1, 1880.
