Embossed, printed on wove manila paper by the Columbian Bank Note Co., Washington, D.C.
First printing, delivered in April 1875 consisted of 4,000 pieces.
Wrapper size: 162 mm x 205 mm.

The second printing is presumed to have been made on darker manila paper
and in 162 mm x 267 mm in size.


Cut square with albino double impression
of outer oval frame.
With the “constant” colorless spot
just to the left of the neck.

Entire 1/4 real wrapper on darker manila paper, 162 mm x 267 mm size, with indistinct 
purple oval and blue circular postmarks on the front and another one on the verso.

With the “constant” colorless spot just to the left of the neck.

Possibly a late CTO because these wrappers had long been demonetized (1881).
